Set in Liverpool, The Cage follows Leanne and Matty, two casino employees who make the same dangerous choice: both are secretly stealing from the safe at the casino where they work.
When each discovers the other’s scheme, they are forced into a volatile alliance built on desperation, mistrust and survival. What begins as a way out of financial pressure quickly spirals into something far more dangerous, drawing them into conflict with the police, a local gangster, and each other.
