When hot-shot LA divorce lawyer Fiona Fox receives a letter from her estranged father, she sets out to uncover the mystery of his death in his hometown of Wicklow, Ireland.

While investigating some of Wicklow’s more dangerous residents, Fiona faces an equally imposing challenge: getting to know her newly discovered Irish family.

This is a murder mystery with a unique twist: the victim is very well known to our heroine but at the same time a stranger to her in many ways. The investigation is set against the backdrop of an emotionally rich family drama that unfolds in Ireland.
